Microwave Module Design Engineer

Our client is a leading Manufacturer of MMICs and Modules for Defense, Broadband and Wireless Infrastructure applications. For the past 5 years or more, they have consistently outperformed in their markets, and are rapidly growing. Due to the remarkable growth of the Hybrids operation, which builds Modules and Assemblies (MFAs) for Defense and Space, they are looking to make several key hires;

Looking for Microwave and MMWV Module, MCM and complex Subassembly Designers, responsible for design and production support activities. Design into Space, Defense, satellite and wireless infrastructure applications.

Some specialties desired include:
-Synthesizer Design
-Oscillator /VCO, DRO, PLL, Up/Down Converter
-SSPA; Solid State Power Amplifier

Designer could be from Defense or Wireless Infra world, but we prefer Chip & Wire techniques.  Interface with MMIC designers, process engineers, and production assembly/test technicians throughout all program phases of research, design and production.   Positions available are at MS and BS engineering degree levels.  Requires proficiency with modeling tools like ADS, MW Office, HFSS.

Job description:

Electrical Engineers responsible for project management and production support activities pertaining to upscreening and qualification of custom MMIC die, packaged microcircuit, and packaged hybrid products for Space and Military applications.  Interface with customer, sales & quality departments, process engineers, MMIC designers, production control, and production assembly/test technicians throughout all program phases of design and production.  Requires a BSEE technical degree or equivalent experience.  Requires strong organizational, project management and customer interface skills, and prior experience with microwave products and applications.  Prior experience with Space and Military application desired.
