• Developed and managed key clients in the Wireless/Smartphone chipset  industry that have produced over 100 executive and technical placements for each client over a period of ten years or more.   These major clients include Avago Technologies, Skyworks Solutions and IBM Microelectronics.
• Developed and managed key clients in the RF /Microwave IC and Component industry that have produced over 100 executive and technical placements for each client over a period of ten years or more.  These major clients include Hittite Microwave and M/A-Com Tech.
• Developed and managed key accounts in the Defense Electronics industry that have produced over 50 executive and technical placements over a period of ten years or more.  These major clients include DRS Corporation and Cobham Electronics.
• Placing the CEO and/or technical management teams with several RF/Wireless and Optical Networking startups.
• Managed several hiring projects for Wireless IC and RF/Microwave component makers, where a large group of skilled engineers was successfully recruited within challenging time constraints.

Jon Tosun joined ATS in 1999, bringing with him over 5 years of sales experience. Mr. Tosun has successfully built relationships and placed candidates in both the Commercial Wireless and Defense markets. In his 10 years with ATS, he has become one of the strongest industry recruiting specialists in the Cell phone Power Amplifier and High Power Amplifier space. Jon is also strong in the area of MMIC, RF/MW Component, Subsystem, and Antenna Design. Jon also places Sales and Marketing professionals in the RF and wireless world.

Mike Ortiz joined ATS in 1999, bringing with him 5 years of sales experience. Since joining ATS, Mike has contributed successfully as a recruiter and account manager in the following areas… Defense Electronics (Radar, EW, SIGINT, Night Vision, Sonar, and C3/C4ISR), Wireless (Handset and Infrastructure), WLAN, WiMAX, Medical Electronics, Automotive Electronics, and Photonics. Mike has successfully placed candidates in the following positions:

RF/MW, Analog/Mixed Signal, FPGA and ASIC Design Engineers, RF and DSP systems architects, Sales, Business Development, Program Management, Engineering Management as well as many others.

Mike has also developed several new areas of business from the ground up for ATS in Defense Electronics, Automotive Electronics and Industrial spaces.

Paul Shanfeld started his recruiting career in 2008. Paul brings a unique perspective to executive recruitment having spent over 20 years in the Wireless Industry working for some of the most recognizable names in the industry such as RFS, Allen Telecom (Commscope) and Allgon (Powerwave). He has held executive positions in sales, marketing, product management, business development and strategic planning as well as participated in many industry associations and standards bodies.

Paul’s areas of expertise are Power Electronics, Antennas, Passive components, Amplifiers, Base Station Infrastructure, Distributed Antenna Systems, Software Defined Radios, Quality Management, System Engineering, Product Management, Sales, Business Development and emerging technologies and system architectures.

He holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from Northeastern University and a Masters in Business Administration from Rider University.

Since joining ATS in 2007, Aaron Cowan has established himself as an integral recruiter for job seekers in the RF/Microwave, Defense Electronics, and Solar/Photovoltaic industry. One of Aaron’s strengths as a recruiter stems from his ability to integrate social networking with classic recruiting.

Aaron graduated from University of Miami with a Bachelor’s of Science in Communications in 2008. He has since established himself in the areas of networking, marketing, and business development. As an Executive Recruiter, Aaron specializes in the recruitment of Packaging Engineers, Reliability Engineers, and Sales/Business Development executives and managers.

Michael graduated from Pace University with a Bachelor’s of Business Administration in Finance and Economics in 2008. Immediately after graduating from Pace, Michael began his career in small business financing and parlayed his sales skill into the IT recruiting field in mid 2011. Shortly after his career transition, Michael joined Advance Technology Search as an Executive Recruiter where he primarily focuses on the RF Wireless, Defense Electronics, and Solar industries.

Patricia joined ATS in 2010 bringing with her a diverse background in Administrative and Operational experience in banking, hospitality (travel and leisure), and marketing.  Additionally, she has over 10 years of  experience with Merrill Lynch in the Information Technology sector as a Technical Analyst.

Since joining ATS, Patricia has been able to bring her skills in leadership and project management with her and has proven to be a strong asset to the firm.
