Photonics on Chip Design Engineer

We are working on behalf of a leader in photonics, using compound semiconductor technology for improving high speed communications for data center markets.

Their group in Ithaca, NY is looking for a Senior Semiconductor Laser designer who will design test and analyze CW lasers, and work with process and product engineering teams to get the product manufactured.

We need an MSEE or PHDEE, with 5 years of semiconductor laser design. We need good Skills in device design and device physics. We prefer experience in compound semi ( InP, gaAs) devices, and experience with design tools like Lumerical.
