Director of Business Development (focused on Radar Systems)

Our client is a leading maker of RF Phased Array and Radar Systems for Defense and Aerospace. They are currently seeking a Business Development Director primarily responsible for Business Capture and Proposals for Radar Products.
The ideal candidate will have a BS in Engineering and/or Business with 10 years of more of Business Development Management experience. We need someone who will go beyond current business and create new business opportunities for Radars within EW, MILCOM, and SATCOM markets. They should be excellent at customer relationship management as well as understanding the company’s relationship with the DOD. Understanding DOD acquisition is not required, but is a huge plus (i.e. someone who has worked with FAR/DFAR contracts). 30-50% travel required.
