Business Development Director – Missile Systems

Our client is a leading maker of RF Phased Array and Radar Systems for Defense and Aerospace. They have been in business for 60 years and have seen a strong growth rate in the last 10 years. Recently, they have gone from being a product-based company to being a full systems-based company allowing them more opportunities to grow in numerous market and product spaces. They are currently seeking a Business Development Director primarily responsible for business capture and proposals for missile systems products.
The ideal candidate will have a BS in Engineering and/or Business with 10 years of more of Business Development Management experience. We need someone who will go beyond current business and create new business opportunities. They should be excellent at customer relationship management as well as understanding the company’s relationship with the DoD. Understanding DoD acquisition is not required, but is a huge plus (i.e. someone who has worked with FAR/DFAR contracts). 30-50% travel required.
