Sr. Principal Photonics Engineer

Our client is a leading maker of RF and photonics ICs and systems. They design and integrate an RF over fiber communications system for defense applications in New Jersey. This technology enables the transport of RF/Microwave signals up to 70 GHz over fiber.

We are looking for a Senior Principal Photonics Engineer who will develop requirements and specs, and do design, integration and test of photonics subsystems.

• We need a BSEE or Physics, with 7-10+ years’ experience in photonics design, including design/integration/test of lasers, modulators and transceivers, ideally up to the level of photonic links.
• Due to ITAR regulations, only candidates who are U.S. Citizens will be considered for this position.
