Sr. Principal Electronic Design Engineer

Our client is a leading maker of RF and photonics ICs and systems. They design and integrate an RF over fiber communications system for defense applications in New Jersey. This technology enables the transport of RF/Microwave signals up to 70 GHz over fiber.

They are looking for a Senior Principal Engineer for Design of Analog/Digital Control circuitry.

• This person will design circuitry that controls power and other functions for RF over Fiber Links.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• We need a BSEE or higher degree, with 7-10+ years of Analog /Digital Control board design, ideally for RF or Optical applications.

Should have experience with all or most of the following:

• Microprocessor-controlled system design; doing HW/FW integration of MCUs
• Designing control boards/schematics for RF or Optics designs.
• I2C, RS 232, SPI or similar interfaces.
• Due to ITAR regulations, only candidates who are U.S. Citizens will be considered for this position.
