CAD Software/ Design Automation Engineer

We’re working on behalf of a leading maker of RF ICs and modules for Mobile, 5G and WIFI. They are looking for a CAD Software/Design Automation Engineer, based in San Jose CA.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

• Write code, including scripts in SKILL, Python, AEL, Perl, Unix Shell scripting, C/C++ to integrate various, RF design tools (ADS, Cadence, HFSS) and PDKs for RF IC and PCB designs.
• Support Analog, RF, Mixed-Signal, and PCB design environments including Virtuoso, Spectre, EMX, Keysight ADS, Ansys HFSS, Allegro/SIP/APD+.
• Interact with EDA vendors, technology foundries, and internal PDK/process teams to debug and resolve issues efficiently.

1. We need a BSEE or CS or higher degree, with 3-8 or more years of experience in CAD Software experience, including intensive Software code development.
2. Preferably has experience supporting Analog or RF IC Design.
3. Ideally, the candidate will have some experience working with AI/ML.
