Field Applications Engineer

We are working with a leading provider of IC Foundry Services. They are looking for a Field Applications Engineer in the SF Bay Area, to support Digital and a broad range of customers.

The FAE provides in-depth technical support for the entire customer engagement. The FAE represents helps match the company’s process capability to the customer’s design needs.

We are looking for a BSEE or MSEE, with 6-8 plus years experience. We prefer someone with Applications or Design experience, who is interested in getting into something more customer and business-oriented. Should understand simulation tools like Verilog, RTL, VHDL, and be familiar with PDKs.

Understand system level applications, and sell GF device offerings:
Silicon side, FINFET, SiGE, Power ICs
Types of products being fabbed : Serdes, Analog, RF, Power ICs, Memories, other Digital
30% travel to the fab and customers.
