Laser Design Engineer

We are working on behalf of a leading maker of opto-electronic ICs for Data Center applications.

They have a major facility in Central NJ, where they design and fabricate CW (Continuous Wave) DFB Lasers for Data Center applications, using an InP (Indium Phosphide) process.

They are looking for an experienced Engineer, who designs DFB, EML or other Edge-Emitting Lasers. This position is being offered at the Principal or even Director level.

• We need a PhDEE, with 5+ years of experience in the design of DFB Laser, EML or other Edge-emitting Lasers, ideally using InP or another III-V process.
• We need broad experience in IC Design, Characterization, Device, process, and driving IC designs into manufacture.
