Manufacturing Quality Engineer

We are working on behalf of a fast-growing maker of complex RF components, including IMAs (Integrated Microwave Assemblies) for Radar, EW, and other Defense applications.. They are based on Long Island, NY.

They are looking for a Quality/Manufacturing Engineer, who will drive manufacturing and optimize production efficiency. Will also focus on maintaining high quality standards for all RF and microelectronic products being manufactured. Will coordinate with groups relevant to design, materials, and inventory, helping drive best practices. Will ensure Quality of manufactured parts.

We need a degree (or equivalent) , with 7-10+ years manufacturing RF modules and subsystems, working with SMT and ideally chip and wire technology. Prefer defense experience, with knowledge of standards like AS9102, MIL-PRF-38534, MILSTD-883, J-STD-001, etc. Prefer experience in a QA role, handling Failure analysis, 8D problem solving and continuous improvement.
