Principal Optical Systems Engineer

Our client is a leading maker of high speed analog ICs and modules for Optical Transceivers and AEC for Copper cables that go into the Data Center market. We are looking for a Principal Systems Engineer who will help architect Optical Systems, and will Test, Debug and Validate Optical modules and AEC ( Active Electronic Cables).

• We need a BSEE /Physics or higher degree, with 4 to 10+ years of Testing and Supporting Optical Transceivers and Opto-Electronics for data center applications.
• Ideal candidate would have solid systems knowledge, strong communications skills, and understand Testing for impairments in Communications Systems.
• This role could also be a fit for someone with solid experience in Systems Engineering Test and Supporting Communications Systems – including Optical, Cellular, WIFI or Broadband as long as they would like to focus on Optical.
• Full time role, Direct hire.
• Located in San Diego CA area.
