RF Design Engineering Manager

Our client is a leading maker of RF/Microwave components and IMAs /subsystems for defense markets. Based in the Phoenix AZ area, they are looking for a Lead RF Design Engineer and RF Engineering Manager.

The RF Design Engineer Manager will drive cross-functional teams to develop best-in-class RF, Microwave and mmW integrated solutions (IMAs). These IMAs will include RF, Power management, Digital, developed on PWB and Mechanical housing. Responsibilities will include Proposal, Specification definition, design, testing and characterizing prototypes in the lab, presenting design results, and participating in design reviews. This role plays a critical role in managing our high-performance RF teams, drive customer presentations and technology roadmap. The RF Design Manager is also a top hands-on contributor who works autonomously under limited supervision. Exposure to defense application including responsibility for technical proposals, prototype to production, performance, customer presentations, schedule, and cost requirements is desired. Will have expert knowledge of concepts, practices and procedures of assigned product or program.

BS degree in Electrical Engineering. Masters or PhD degree preferred.
