Vice President of Engineering; RF Base Station Antennas

We are working on behalf of a fast-growing maker of RF Antennas for cellular Base Station markets. They are looking for a VP of Engineering who will lead RF Antenna Design and drive transfer to production. The VP will have 7-8 Direct manager reports, ultimately over a team of 70 Engineers located in 5 US and Global locations.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

• The VP will hire, train and motivate the team.
• Will interact with customers to determine their system level requirements and develop specs and architecture for the Antennas.
• Will help make decisions on vendors, CAD tool and Test equipment investments.
• Will use Phase-Gate, or a similar method to drive the design process from concept to deliverable.
• Will architect the Antenna product, and closely advise engineers on methods, risks and tradeoffs, ultimately approving the designs.

***We need a BSEE or higher degree, with 15-20 + years of RF/Microwave Design OR Antenna design, including 10+ years as a technical manager over RF Design.
